Stevenson Achieves IDEAlliance G7 Master Printer Status

The IDEAlliance G7 Master Printer Qualification Program identifies those printing companies and prepress service providers who have been trained to use the G7 Proof to Print Process and can produce proofs or can print to G7 specifications. The G7 Master Printer qualification means that the company uses the most modern technology, techniques, proofing and press controls, and standards required to produce a close visual match from proof to print.

Summer’s Eve Redesign – Stevenson Contributes to Brand Consistency

In their July/August 2011 issue, Package Design Magazine features an article highlighting the recent redesign of Summer’s Eve feminine hygiene products.  As a part of the redesign team, Stevenson provided Color Management and Prepress services to ensure the consistency of the custom colors chosen for the new design platform. Stevenson’s, Lynn Westendorf comments on the challenges met through this process:

 

Summers Eve Bottles"Because of the large number of varietal colors," Westendorf explains, "we established brand standards on our litho press to provide approved color standards for each of the printers to match to. One of our roles on the project was to assure brand standards were maintained by color managing ink drawdowns submitted by each of the print vendors."
