Printing Concern Will Expand Plant By 50%
CINCINNATI - A prominent printing and pre-media services company is expanding its plant by 50 percent.
Stevenson, The Color Company, is adding 40,000 square feet of space to its existing 80,000-square-foot plant at 535 Wilmer Avenue. It's the second expansion in seven years for the family-owned business, and the result of a decision in 2000 to boost its printing and fulfillment capabilities. At that time, Stevenson, The Color Company hired Miller-Valentine Group to design and build a new space that could support a greater volume of these activities. With increased customer demand for its services, Stevenson has returned to Miller-Valentine Group to design and build more space at its Wilmer Avenue location.
CEO Jeff Stevenson attributes the company's rapid business growth to making timely investments in cutting-edge printing equipment and technologies, and offering a custom mix of services to customers.
Construction on the plant addition is expected to be complete by January 2008.
Stevenson, The Color Company, was founded in 1926 and is currently managed by the fourth generation of Stevensons.
